I appreciate and support your work. I really was inspired by the podcast Find Out. I am a older white female. Respectfully, It’s past due for white guys to push back hard as resistance. Required in my opinion. Small towns are dealing with white supremacy and extremism.

I just listened to a female speaker yesterday talking about R. Spencer. The personal story as I listened spoke of traumatization for years for many in that community.

I've seen 3 of you separately on TikTok and then Luke had a video talking about this podcast that I just saw today and now I'm here. I'm thoroughly amused by this. I love all of your different styles. I appreciate this quite a lot.

I think you will be a blessing to your daughter, as my MSgt dad was to me. There’s never been an advantageous time to be born female, but having a strong, compassionate father has always been an ace in the hole for girls tackling the world.

I really enjoyed this discussion and think you bring up excellent ideas about the Democratic Party needing better messaging. I too thought that the way Schumer caved suddenly when so many other democrats were working in the other direction just looked terribly pathetic!!!

Great first podcast, very thoughful, and informative. I appreciate your perspective. I look forward to podcast #2. I have to say, I loved the comments shared by the girl dad’s. I am the 64 year old daughter of a remarkable girl dad. He was a jet pilot in the air force , and a wonderful father of 2 girls, who always reminded us that we could do anything we set our minds to. Which, back in the day, was very liberating! Thank you.

Awesome. Looking forward to the next one. What a compliment of white dude characters. I mentioned this on one of Luke’s posts, but it’s kind of like having the different emotions from the Inside Out movie. Nice to have the different perspectives all banning together for a singular purpose. Planning to spread this far and wide.

As a middle aged white dude from rural red cult country- it was nice hear men who think, and sometimes think like me. Different shades of blue. Don't become a mouthpiece for a party, but keep talking strategy. I hope it doesn't become Monday morning quarterbacking.

Look forward to the next one.

I can promise you this much, Jake: if you’re hearing Monday morning quarterbacking, we’re at least gonna be fighting about it. There’s not one thing that all of us agree on.

Very good first episode. Well done. The main point of nearly every substack I follow and podcast I'm subscribed to is Democrats need to fix their messaging. Some know how to do it but most don't. The CR was a case of no good choice. Democrats will be blamed. Whether they voted yes or no. The problem was messaging. For the people changing their registration. I'm sorry but Dems rage quit the party constantly. They will come back. Just have them watch AOC, Jasmine Crockett, Bernie, Frost, Raskin, etc.

I agree with the point made about needing to have the Republicans prove how terrible their 'policies' are. MTN will refer to this as cleansing pain. Markets crashing, inflation up, deficit increased, and all the other things this administration is bringing will be painful. But people call us overreacting when talking theoretically, so the only way to open eyes is to have it become reality.

Side note: litter boxes. I looked this up and the only mention I was able to find was about classrooms having them in relation to active shooter instances/drills and kids peeing themselves out of fear. For classrooms without a bathroom in them. Not widespread and not a fun reason for litter.

Yes, you’re correct. NBC did the story a few years tracing how a kernel of truth about kitty litter (for active shooter scenarios) morphed into a massive rightwing disinformation campaign that Republican members of congress were regurgitating. https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/misinformation/urban-myth-litter-boxes-schools-became-gop-talking-point-rcna51439

There is a huge group of Trump supporters that were Bernie supporters. I think people are looking for authenticity.

Yes, authenticity is definitely something some of those Bernie-to-Trump supporters were looking for. And, some were just looking to burn “the system” down by any means necessary.
