This was an incredible episode, thanks y’all. I’m really digging the casual acceptance of the different forms of masculinity you each have on the show and what you’re doing to help remind a lot of us men of the same is really important.

I’ve been one of the unfortunate tech sector people hit by this contracting market and this show, in particular, has been a huge influence in helping me be comfortable letting my creative side come out, rather than my destructive one. Instead of falling into resentment, I fell back onto my creative side and started writing poetry to help me process and cope. Then I did the thing I’ve always been afraid of, I put it out for others to read and listen to. Y’all helped inspire me to keep fighting, I hope this gives some motivation back—a poem entitled “our part”, y’all are doing yours, it’s time we do ours.

Wonderful episode. I think it's hard for empathetic democrats to navigate this new maga era arena because we know that we need to be accepting of alternate views and perspectives. We know the echo chamber doesn't promote intellectual growth, yet the cruelty of the right at this point is incredibly hard to accept, so we shut it out. There is no clear answer forward, but I think as Jason said, the real life impacts will open eyes and when it does, we need to be accepting of that and then show them a path forward. I think it's also very telling and inspiring to hear the stories of your own personal growth and how you went from right to left and why. People will resonate with that. P.s. Kris, I loved that you had your wee one with you. I have commented before, but I am a labor and delivery nurse and I just love to see Dad's holding their babies next to them. Skin to skin or snuggled up in a carrier. (It doesn't happen enough, so I applaud you and your showing it to other men. It's normal and it's good for so many reasons). Thanks guys.

A really great interview with Jason. He's right on the ball about how people are led into short term happiness for long term pain. I hope some of the people who watch only Fox and such will view this and it makes them THINK. I also don't believe telling the males that they are the enemy is a good solution. Find Out has proved that.

This is the best episode. Jason reminds me of my grandfather, who was my role model and my best friend growing up. He didn’t mince words, he was loving, gentle, but strong and truth to the values he cultivated throughout his life. He grew up poor and rejected by his father. He show me that I have always the power to choose who I want to be and how I will respond. He was a real man, he made mistakes and learned from them. He never stopped learning. He taught me to never waste my skills, and to not get full of myself. That’s a real man. He showed me to be generous, and think of the needs of others. That’s a real man. But most of all, he showed me more than what he said to me, loved me just the way I was, and pushed me to become the man I was able to be. That’s a real man.

My husband and I were born Democratic Party people. However; our 3 sons hate politics. The oldest married an evangelical woman who her family are Republicans. They convince him to be “Pro-Life”. He hates when I bring up, it is not pro life to take Health care, food or shelter away from the poor! I raised them Catholic! Catholic Social Teaching.

The other 2 voted 3rd party. I don’t think they are following politics because they are married and have a child. I’m not sure if I should remind them on what is going on. Or let them figure it out.

This might be my favorite episode yet - it explains the development of this craziness - my 24-year-old sons (twins) and daughter are all very liberal, but most of one of my son's friends are republican. They can't give any good arguments as to why they are, and a few of them only claimed the economy for why they voted for Drumpf. It shocks me, but this helps explain some of it. Even my very liberal husband has complained to me that as a straight white male, he is feeling very attacked at times. Anyhow, this episode was really good! Keep up the good work. By the way, it was Michael J Fox on Family Ties. Loved that show and he was just a great character. I loved him, but didn't agree with him at all.
